Apparently the blackbird and the scaly thrush allowed me to get quite close (1.5 m) without being disturbed too much.

Black Kite
strange it was carrying a twig - presumably building its nest; the tail isn't forked too. Odd.

Common Tailorbird
All 5 species in Victoria Park, where it is usually too noisy.
