This may be of interest especially to people in developing
countries with little budget for books. I just downloaded
the whole book, 6.6. Mb. Download of individual chapters
also possible. The two chapter authors I know, Saunders and
Bennett, are indeed eminent in their field. If only there
were a translation into French ... And a couple of days to
really absorb this.
Apparently in support of "the International Year for
Biodiversity", Oxford University Press is making a
Conservation Biology textbook
freely available. Many of the authors are famous
conservation biologists. Feel free to download it at the
