Redshank
Taken at the mudflat just in front of the Gurney Plaza and G hotel on 15/4/2011. According to locals, this mudflat is new after Tsunami when mud was brought up to the coastline. We saw redshank, spotted redshank, whimbrel, Chinese Pond Heron, Green Heron and Brahminy Kite (with binoculars only) just from the roadside.
