Recently Chinabirdnet forum was attacked by hackers. Due to security reason, from now on, the online user registration service of both HKBWS forum and Chinabirdnet forum will be stopped. User registration procedure will be done by HKBWS office staff.
User registration procedure
Firstly, please read the HKBWS Forum Registration Agreement and Additional Forum Regulations.
If you agree with the Agreement, please send the information listed below to hkbws@hkbws.org.hk with an email subject "BBS new user registration". HKBWS office staff will send a confirmation email including user ID and password to the email address provided.
Information required:
1. User ID (max. 15 characters, space is not accepted. Please provide at least TWO user ID and list in priority. If the user ID is already used by somebody, office staff will choose the next user ID accordingly)
2. User’s FULL Chinese or English name
3. HKBWS membership number (Put Non-member if you are not HKBWS member. For new members who haven’t got the membership number, please provide the number once you received the membership card.)
4. Email address for receiving confirmation letter
5. Reason for registration (short reason is ok, do not exceed 20 words)
Office staff will provide a temporary password, user please login to the forum once you received the confirmation email and change the password as soon as possible.
