Ashy Drongo (leucogenis) x 2 Author: brendank Time: 3/05/2011 00:04
2 May 2011
1 Brown Wood Owl (seen at 18:50 between picnic area 2 and 3)
2 Slaty-legged Crakes (heard from picnic area 2 after 1900)
1 Hodgson's Hawk Cuckoo (heard near picnic area 2 after 1900)
1 Hainan Blue Flycatcher (very quiet before dark at Tai Po Kau)
the dark thing in center in the picture is the owl. It is hard to see from the picture but the bird was quite large. Larger I think than even a Brown Hawk Owl would be. Never heard it call.
