10 May 2011

Not much during the day but nice to see the Brown Fish Owl perch on a lamp post at night.

Great find Brendan. Where was it? Near the field or the river???
Author: brendank    Time: 11/05/2011 00:20

Thanks.  Near the river but I think the owls could go almost anywhere at Pui O. I think these birds must have a huge territory.
Author: fatchun    Time: 11/05/2011 01:00

I think so. I know it could appear even in Chi Ma Wan.

Suspect they nest on the rocky bluff between Chi Ma Wan and Pui O.  There are some step cliffs which most have some ideal nesting spots.
