We will go to Mai Po for the Wild Card Day on 15 May. Details as follow:
Date: 15/5/2011 Sunday
Time: 07:30 - 13:00
Gathering Time & Place: 07:30 Mai Po car park. If you are interested to take taxi with Dr. Cheung, please gather at the Taxi Station at Exit C, Sheung Shui MTR Station at 7:00am.
Finishing time: 13:00
Tide: 2.0m at around 10-11am
Leader: Dr. Cheung Ho Fai
Limited to 50 participants only, first come first serve. For those who are interested, please reply this post so that the leader can estimate the number of participants.
Free of Charge for all members.
HK$30 for non-member.

About 10 join the early Mai Po outing last Sunday. It was a cool, cloudy, slightly foggy and with very light rain. The weather is good for bird watching. There were good number of Wader on pond 16/17, and the boardwalk falling tide was disappointing.
After Mai Po, many of us went to Kam Tin to enjoy to noodle and the Barred Owlet family.
Here is the bird list, 64 species were recorded by us.
