I saw these birds in Tai Mo Shan range. Having difficulties confirming if Richard's Pipits or not. 2 and 3 are different birds.

You're right, these birds are Richard's Pipits.

For comparison with Upland Pipit look at this thread: http://www.hkbws.org.hk/BBS/view ... 4365&highlight=
Look especially at the structure of the two species - for example Upland Pipit has a heavier bill and shorter legs and tail than your birds. Also, it would be very unusual for Upland Pipit to perch on wires.

For the first birds, I was almost sure they were Richard's, but the second and third didn't have the "upright" position, which I feel was characteristic of the Richard's Pipit. Thanks for confirming!
