鵐科雀鳥的秋季過境遷徙即將開始，在鳥季開始前，一齊來猜猜今年會有多少隻黃胸鵐 (禾花雀) 和多少種鵐到訪塱原!
黃胸鵐數量以塱原雀鳥調查錄得單日最高數量為準，而鵐科種類數量則以塱原雀鳥調查所錄得的加上網上討論區有相片為證的種類為準。
Migration of bunting starts soon. Let's make a guess on the number of Yellow-breasted Bunting and number of bunting species visiting Long Valley this year!
Number of Yellow-breasted Bunting will refer to the highest count recorded in regular bird survey, while the number of bunting species will refer to both regular survey and HKBWS forum with photo support.

結果將於12月初公佈. Result will be announced in early Dec.

23 Yellow-breasted Buntings and seven bunting species

The first bunting species has arrived Long Valley. It's Yellow-browed Bunting!!

到目前為止有7種鵐在塱原出現: 黃眉鵐、黃胸鵐、黑頭鵐、栗耳鵐、小鵐、灰頭鵐、鳳頭鵐；而暫時黃胸鵐最高數量為10月17日錄得的12隻。
競猜活動將會在11月30日結束，還有半個月的時間，不知道結果將會如何呢??

Up to now, seven bunting species were recorded in long Valley: Yellow-browed, Yellow-breasted, Black-headed, Chestnut-eared, Little, Black-faced and Crested Bunting. And the highest number of Yellow-breasted Bunting recorded is 12 individuals on 17 Oct.
The activity will end on 30 Nov. Still two weeks to go, are the results going to be different?

When was the Crested Bunting? I hadn't heard anything about that species being recorded this year. It's a significant record and a species that many people still haven't seen in HK.

The bunting was seen on 13 Nov morning. No one spot this bird afterwards.

數數「鵐」活動在11月底結束，今年秋天共記錄到12隻黃胸鵐(與去年一樣)和7種鵐(比去年少了田鵐)，包括: 黃眉鵐、黃胸鵐、黑頭鵐、栗耳鵐、小鵐、灰頭鵐和鳳頭鵐，你猜對嗎?

The “Make a Guess” activity is finished by the end of November. This autumn, 12 Yellow-breasted Buntings (same as last year) and 7 bunting species (Rustic Bunting is missed this year) including Yellow-browed, Yellow-breasted, Black-headed, Chestnut-eared, Little, Black-faced and Crested Bunting were recorded in Long Valley. Did you make the right guess?
