經常有朋友會問 : 拍過啄木鳥沒有啊?

我羞愧地說說 : 要拍香港的啄木鳥難得很 ...

是的,啄木鳥在宏宏鳥種之中好有特色,擘住paul樹,啄下啄下咁,有幾張record photo,算是咁了

Are there one or two birds here, perhaps male and female; the second photo shows a male with red on the nape and a bright yellow bill, the bill on the third photo looks duller.

Mike,

Yes,there are two bird appear at the same time,
but it is not confirmed that whether one or two were photoed.

Add one more photo of the one on top of the tree showing the nape.(not red?)female?
