This bird was flying over our house in Sai Kung whilst I was Osprey watching this morning. I presume it is a juvenile Peregrine - I have seen the species once or twice from here before - but the head looks poorly marked although other images do show a clear moustachial stripe. I just grabbed my wife's 30D and fired a few frames before it went too high for me to follow. (Added 2nd image)

Comments welcomed

Thanks

Andrew

Yes John. This is the house combo so that if I am out and something interesting appears Shirley can grab a shot for me. She finds this easy to use. It was the nearest thing to hand today. I was puzzled at first by what looked to be a very poorly marked head but later shots showed much clearer detail.
