Due to tide condition on activity date, we won't visit broadwalk birdhides at Inner Deep Bay. Instead we'll spend all our time inside the Gei Wei area for bird watching. Thank you for your understanding.
Too high tide?
I don't understand. How does this affect bird turnout? Author: HKBWS Bonnie Time: 10/12/2011 09:57
The tide level is very low on the 18th that birds will be very very far.

A nice day for walking. It was fine, only a bit hazy. About 50 join the outing. Part of the group witnessed Eastern Buzzard caught and feasted on a snake, and being harassed by a group of Black Kite at the same time.
Not very birdy, but still 81 species recorded. Thanks to Peter and others for helping.
