Heavily cropped record shot, but first record I've heard of on Lamma of this species, so pretty well chuffed with that.

Not the same individual.

Look at the tips of the greater coverts.

Second bird is adult male, first bird a first winter, I think.

It looks like a pale thrush to me, but I doubt if it is the same bird due to the more prominent wing bar on the first bird.  I'd be interested to hear comments from others - I've never seen this species before, so have no field experience to draw on.  The bird I saw yesterday, and on Sunday at the same location, had a distinctive habit of flicking its tail feathers outwards showing the white edges.
