已獲｢公司註冊處」簽發特別許可證，准許無須加入『有限公司』一詞，
並已藉特別決議通過更改名稱，但本機構仍為有限公司，
根據《公司條例》註冊的名稱現正式更改為
香 港 觀 鳥 會
THE HONG KONG BIRD WATHCING SOCIETY LIMITED
has now been granted a licence to omit the word "Limited" and
having by special resolution changed its name, is a limited company and
is now incorporated under the Companies Ordinance in the name of
THE HONG KONG BIRD WATCHING SOCIETY

如閣下直接到銀行入數至本會戶口，請以現金入數。

As change of name of our BOC bank account is yet to be finalized, kindly send your cheque payment BY POST to the Society for our further process.
In any case direct credit to our bank account is prefered, please pay by cash instead.

Why has this been done?
Why 'congratulations'?
I have no issue with the change, but it would be interesting to know why it was needed.
