There is a female (or juvenile male) Owston's or Green-backed Flycatcher on Po Shan Road seen near the lower curve on po shan road. See map here:
This bird appears quite a bit less yellow on the breast than the bird seen in October so I am hesitant to say it definitely is a Green-backed. I will post some photos tonight. Author: brendank Time: 18/11/2011 19:14
This photos arent the best. I tried relocating the bird for more than hour after first seeing it and couldn't.
Features observed are:
1. yellow thoat and slight yellow wash on the breast
2. reddish brown tail
3. white undertail coverts
4. faint yellow eyering
5. dark rump
6. one brownish wingbar
7. brown mantle
I think this bird is too yellowish to be narcissina but I doubt it could be seperated between elisae and owstoni
