This is a Yellow-legged Buttonquail. Obviously a disorientated migrant - may have hit a window during the night.

Wow, a incredible find!! Yellow-breasted Buttonquails tend to migrate in October so this would be quite late for it to be migrating. Author: HFCheung Time: 2/01/2012 23:46
Talking about late migration, several of us witnessed two Yellow Bitterns in Mai Po on 31 Dec 2011.
