Introduction:
As an old Chinese saying, “a bird chooses a fine tree to nest in”, birds are always being treated as an index that shows how good the environment is. Deep Bay, which is located in the northwest of Hong Kong, is surrounded by regions that have rapid economic developments in recent years. Then why would there still be 6 bird-watching sites? The speaker has been to Tsim Bei Tsui, Mai Po, Nam Sang Wai, Hong Kong Wetland Park, Kam Tin and Long Valley for bird watching in these two years. In this talk, he has chosen “Environmental Quality of Deep Bay” as the topic in order to analyze this piece of bird-watching paradise of its past, present and future based on the environmental management aspect.
