At Sha Lo Wan, watch some birds flying around in the cloudy sky high over the airport, disappeared then. But minutes later suddenly saw them flying low and high (swift like flying) around the empty field in the village for some 15 minutes, then I left. Some black kite and buzzard also around. Swift and swallow mixed and apparently those eight birds are bigger and had wings longer and in special shape when flying. Author: wgeoff Time: 12/03/2012 05:41
Thanks.
I don't really know what those birds were but I don't think they were Eurasian Hobbies - maybe Pacific Swifts? Author: ajohn Time: 12/03/2012 10:00
From this description (and time of year), Oriental Pratincole sounds like a possibility. Author: ckwokwing Time: 31/03/2012 21:52
