Hi all... observed from a distance an accipiter circling over the pond just behind the village in Po Toi on Sunday (where the Ferruginous Flycatcher was seen - great views of that one!) Can't decide between a Besra or a Crested Goshawk. I did notice a white rump/upper tail coverts as it flew away. Size seemed more Goshawk than Besra but really not sure. I figured anyone who knows the island (Geoff?) probably knows this bird as well. Any ideas? Thanks!

There is a Crested Goshawk on Po Toi at the moment which regularly circles around in the way you describe.

Thanks very much for both replies... indeed the photo looks exactly like the bird I saw
