Spotted Redshank & Common Redshank are similar and can be easily confused, but Spotted has a longer, thinnner bill, and greyer upperparts. Common Redshank is shorter billed, much browner above, more marked on the underparts and less elegant-looking.
The bird in the photo is Spotted Redshank.
