Is it unusual to see it on such high altitude environment?

Yes, Blue Rock Thrush.

No, not unusual. This species likes grassy areas with rocks - from sea-level to mountains. Probably regular in winter in small numbers on Tai Mo Shan but under-recorded because of lack of observers.
