本會將於未來數個月，放乾自然保護區內的一些基圍及淡水塘，目的是方便后海灣繁殖的水鳥在水位逐漸被調低的基圍/塘覓食，如鷺科的雀鳥。請參照下表的建議時間。

Dear Birdwatchers/Photographers,

Over the coming month, we will drain down some of the gei wais and freshwater ponds inside the Mai Po Nature Reserve. This is done to benefit breeding waterbirds in Deep Bay, e.g. ardeids, by providing gradually low down water-level at the gei wai/pond for forage through summer. Proposed drain down dates can be viewed from the table below.
