Your second bird is very interesting - the green feathers on the head  and the facial patter suggest it could be Ryukyu Flycatcher. Alan and I saw a bird with a green head and back on Saturday, so I am very interested to see if this could be the same bird.

Do you have any more pix of other angles?

I just had a look at Nial Moores' essay on these species. I would say this bird looks like the second year Narcissus Flycatchers shown in Figure 8 and 9.
