It was a rainy day not very crowded, last week just saw Chinese Pond Heron, Common Kingfisher and Scaly Breasted Munia, today (16.06.2012) was much batter: The birds seen at Mud Flat were:
Common Kingfisher
Shrike
Black Drongo
Crested Myna
Yellow Bittern
Chinese Pond Heron
Striated Heron
Black Crown Night Heron
Female Koel
Little Grebe
A fine shot of the Yellow Bittern landing, especially if the light was poor

All good shots, akhan. Your gearing esp 600/4 also helped alot.
Did you see them in the Park's "Mud Flat" area? Author: akhan Time: 26/06/2012 08:32
K_Chan,
Thanks a lot for viewing and kind words of appreciation. I agree with you 600 helped me a lot, as it is a fact that in most of the cases in bird photography one is benefited from long reach. Yes,all the birds mentioned above were seen at mud flat. Author: akhan Time: 2/07/2012 13:26
