This is actually a juvenile Chinese Grosbeak (note the small black face-mask, brown head and grey collar giving a Hawfinch-like appearance).
There are a good number of Chinese Grosbeaks around Mai Po at the moment, including family groups with juveniles. Author: vivian Time: 2/07/2012 18:12
