Gathering Place: Aberdeen Ferry Pier (to Po Toi), Aberdeen Promenade
Ferry will leave Aberdeen at 8:15am and this is the only ferry going to Po Toi from Aberdeen. To secure a seat on the ferry, please be punctual! If you cannot reach Aberdeen before 8:00am, please call the activity leader at 9457 3196 to reserve a seat for you.
Activity time: 08:00 - 16:00
(Return ferry from Po Toi to Stanley Blake Pier departs at 15:00 and 16:30; ferry from Po Toi to Aberdeen departs at 18:00, participants may decide which ferry to take.)
Target species: Migratory birds
Free of Charge for all members. HK$30 for non-member.
But ALL participants have to pay their own ferry fee ($40 round trip)

the bird perched above the Daurian Redstart in its pic looks like a female elisae/owstoni Flycatcher that is not menyion in the list.

or isn't it the light condition that make the bird appears very yellowish on underparts.The very large pale area in front of the eye looks quite big for elisae/owstoni. Maybe just Asian Brown. I wont tell more on this picture:-) Author: wgeoff Time: 22/10/2012 13:51
I think it's Asian Brown Jonathan.
200 Hair-crested Drongos would be easily a HK record count.
Are these Chinese Bulbuls, which form large flocks on Po Toi at this time?
