Not really sure about this bird as we found very few information on the Golden-spectacled Complex!
We are making a bold guess with our limited knowledge based on the below observations:
1) yellow complete eye-ring,
2) faint wing bar,
3) crown stripes start beyond forehead,
4) underpart yellow colour looks duller than affinis.
Any comments are most appreciated, please correct us if we are wrong.
Cheers

With my limited knowledge, all the listed features match Alstrom's Warbler Seicercus soror.
Quite nice photos.

I think the following combination of features identifies this as Alstrom's Warbler:
Unbroken eye-ring
Black lateral crown stripes which only reach to above the eye
Pale (rather than blue-grey median crown stripe
Limited grey below lateral crown stripes
Dull underparts
Darker wash to sides of breast
Very indistinct wing bars
Very limited white in the outer tail feathers which does not inlcude a triangle of white extending towards the tail base
Date is also good, with Altrom's being an early migrant (already migrating through Thailand in mid-Sept) Author: wleepoin Time: 3/10/2012 22:29
Thank you Gary and Paul for your comments and confirmation, most appreciated.
Cheers
