Is it a Yellow-streaked Warbler or Dusky Warbler? It did not sing in 30min observation. Thanks.

Legs look too dark for Yellow-streaked Warbler. I think it is a Dusky

Agreed this is Dusky Warbler. The brow pattern also fits Dusky, with whitish fore-brow and buffy hind brow. Yellow streaked would show a buffy fore-brow and white hind brow, somehow like that of Radde's.

As a general observation I am not sure definitive judgments can be made on colour from photographs. The 2 sets of images are in different light and the overall tone of the bird is completely different, much warmer in the second set. It can be argued that the brow shows different coloration fore and back in some shots. In others it looks completely uniform. Or perhaps my ageing eyes just can't see it. It also depends whether monitors are properly calibrated.

Thank Brendan and Koel for the ID. Thank Handrew for the comment.
