Po Toi. On the concrete steps leading to the Sisters' Cafe.
Wednesday 5 December

I was watching a male Japanese Thrush when this bird appeared. It crossed the steps and I just managed a single photo before it disappeared

It had just stopped raining and I think this bird must have been feeding in a mud pool or having a bath.
I did not see it again on Wednesday or today.

Geoff started out on Po Toi with a Chinese Thrush, and then finished with Po Toi also with a Chinese Thrush.

OK, maybe he is not finished yet, still a few months to go...

But it was as if the Chinese Thrush is the messenger for Geoff...

Very interesting, look at the thumbnail photo of Geoff, a Chinese thrush photo with the head to the right, and now another photo to the left with the same species.  What a coincidence.
