LV: 12.12.12 (1Dx + 600 F/4) This bird also have some sort of band in one leg. It was long distance shot.

Olive-backed Pipit, I think. Better to have some angle showing the back and facial pattern.

Looks like Buff-bellied Pipit to me. The eyering is seems complete and there doesn't seem to be a pale spot behind the ear coverts.

Yes, Buff-bellied Pipit, the amazing thing is that we trapped and ringed three at Mai Po Reedbed on Thursday 6th December 2012 (i.e. six days ago). Only a handful (sorry, I don't have immediate access to the exact number) have been ringed in Hong Kong so it it is almost certainly one of these!

Five have now been ringed in HK. It's very lucky for one to be resighted!
