天津毒殺東方白鸛事件, 湖南千年鳥道候鳥殺戮調查視頻播出等捕鳥消息廣泛被報道以來, 不同地區的志願組織紛紛響應支持, 成立鳥類救助隊.
12年年底由內地知名媒體人鄧飛於2012年10月發起“讓候鳥飛” 公益基金。

It seems to be easier to establish to a conservation fund in China these days. It also seems easier to get large donations. I really like to see that the donation be put into effective uses. This is also true for HKBWS.
