馬蹄收成活動已於昨日(3月18日)完滿結束，雖然沒有陽光普照，但涼涼的天氣更適宜收採馬蹄。活動吸引了近80名會員及巿民參加，記者亦有到場採訪。經過農友示範挖掘馬蹄後，參加者便展開挖掘工作，在泥裏尋找馬蹄。經過一番努力，參加者都有不少收穫，將辛苦得來的馬蹄沖洗乾淨後，有些參加者便一嚐新鮮馬蹄的滋味。在參觀塱原後，各人都滿載而歸。
本會藉此感謝每一位參加者對本計劃及是次活動的支持，希望大家日後能踴躍參與本會舉辦之活動。

The Water Chestnut Harvest Activity was held successfully on 18 March 2007. Although it was cloudy yesterday, cool weather made the harvest less harsh. There were about 80 members and non-members participated in this activity and press was also invited. After the farmer, Mr. Chan, demonstrated how to harvest water chestnut, participants started their work and search for water chestnut inside mud. Participants worked so hard and in return they got a big bag of water chestnut. After washing the corms, some participants tasted the fresh water chestnut.
We would like to offer our heartfelt thanks to all participants for their support to the project and the activity. We hope that members and non-members would enjoy our outings and functions.
