Hello,

I put up more than 125 photos for how to distinguish between Black-eared Kite (lineatus) and Black Kite (govinda) - see here:

if you click on the "details" tab on that page (available for each photo) - I have identified almost every image to either lineatus or govinda. I hope this helps - if you see mistakes or want to disagree - that is fine - just let me know. I also occasionally included some comments for each photo...

Hi Robert

Interesting but I am slightly confused - many of the photos just seem to be labelled Black Kite - are these identified as govinda or uncertain?

Hi Mike,

(a) select a photo and click on it; (b) find the "details" section for each photo - click on it and there will be a drop-down section - I have included comments there (technical details) - or just "lineatus" of "govinda" if the ID seems obvious...
