Yes, a Grey Plover. Grey plumage with a short, heavy bill and large, black eye.
Stints are tiny shorebirds which are often very active and often in flocks. They aren't confusable with Grey Plover once you are familiar (a Grey Plover weighs about 10 times as much as a stint!) Author: samchang Time: 28/04/2013 17:24
Thanks all! For the difference between Pacific Golden Plover and Grey Plover in their non-breeding plumage, is it mainly the color, or there is something more obvious?
