I saw three bird waves in three different locations along Red Trail and tried hard to find what birds were there.

Sorry Geoff, I don't have any photo of this bird.
This bird was seen at 1600 on brown walk. It showed up very well and gave us a very clear view for more than 30 seconds.
This is a light brown to buffy rock thrush with scaly pattern on its body. It has obvious white throat with no eyebrow and buff crescent on its neck. Author: wgeoff Time: 18/10/2013 05:07

Also a lot of Hong Kong Newts in the streams, I guess it's coming closer to their breedin season? They are very active these days. Well worth checking the sandy pools if you want to see any, easily can spot 10+.
