The 14th Inter-school Bird Race is an event for students to acquire knowledge in investigating birds and their habitats. The event encourages students to master their skills in bird identification and ecological surveys. It also facilitates team building capacity of participants and enriches their "Other Learning Experiences (OLE)". The organisers will provide lectures, practical training and field trips for participating students prior to the bird race. The race would be conducted on a team basis and five outstanding teams will be shortlisted.

Target participants: Secondary school students
Activity Period: 2 November 2013 to 21 December 2013
Format: The race would be conducted on a team basis. Each team shall comprise of four students and one advisory teacher.
