Dear Birdwatchers/Photographers,
We are sorry that we have to close ALL Floating Hides in the Reserve temporary starting from TODAY, 23 September 2013, for emergency repair of the hide.
Due to Typhoon Usagi and the severe high tide, all floating hides were under different degrees of damage which need immediate repair to ensure safety.
During this period, please do not use any of the floating hides.
The new floating hide to the right would be re-open on Wed, 25 September, so that there will be at least one hide for your usage. We will try our best to get them fix as soon as possible and post any updates here.

The New floating hide (to the right) has now been repaired and, as stated previously, will reopen for visitors from tomorrow (25th). Note that the screening to this hide has also been damaged in the storm, so visitors are requested to take care when approaching the hide to minimise disturbance to waterbirds.
Repairs on the other hides cannot be completed until these can be refloated on higher tides, which unfortunately will not be possible until the end of next week. It is hoped that other hides will be reopened on 4th or 5th October.
We apologise again for any inconvenience during this period of essential repair.
