Could you tell us location please. I notice you posted this at the same time as another bird you said was taken in Athens, Greece. Was this bird also in Greece?
Identification of gulls is usually extremely difficult, especially in immature plumages. Location can be a very useful clue. This bird is very worn and so will be even more difficult. People using this forum may not have much familiarity with all gull species, so be prepared that the bird might not be certainly identified. Author: handrew Time: 1/11/2013 12:57
