These are fine photos of an interesting bird, - but do the jpeg files need to be so big ?

In addition, I would also add that I sometimes find with some posts that too many photos of a bird are provided. With this post, I think there is only one too many (3 & 4 are basically the same), but with other posts the number of what I think are surplus photos showing a bird in very similar poses is higher.
