This looks like a bird not yet fully grown. I once read it takes them several years (7?) to moult into full adult plumage, may I know how old this one probably is?

Second-year bird according to Ferguson-Lees', well-advanced to 3rd, I believe.

Yes, a juenvile born last year (2012).
WBSE takes about 6 years to attain full adult plumage. Author: fkm Time: 29/12/2013 00:39
