Dear Birdwatchers/Photographers,

Some of the wooden structures in bird watching hide #7 (red arrow in Fig. 1) have recently been found to be rotting and in need of urgent repair. In order to carry out these essential works, the hide will be closed to visitors from 7th January until 17th January 2014. In order to minimise disruption during this period, the right hand side of the hide (Section in red of Fig. 2) will be reopened temporarily to visitors on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th January. All other hides at Mai Po will remain open as normal throughout this period.

Sorry for any inconvenience or disruption that may be caused by the work. If any further information is required, please contact Mr. Tony Hung or Mr. Tommy Cheung on 2471-6212.

致各觀鳥者 / 攝影師：

為了提高保護區的設施質素及安全，本會將於2014年1月7-17日更換#7觀鳥屋(圖一紅色箭嘴位置)部分已經損壞的木材，屆時，#7觀鳥屋將會關閉。期間，#7觀鳥屋右半部份(圖二紅色部份)會在星期六和星期日(1月11-12日)局部開放給訪客使用，並於下星期一(1月13日)再次關閉。

以上工程進行期間，若為閣下構成任何不便，本會謹此致歉。如欲查詢進一步資料，請聯絡米埔自然保護區洪敦熹或張家駿，電話：2471-6212。
