Hi Brendan
Nice to have you back - at least on the website, if not in person. Keep it coming.
You would have enjoyed the last month but I guess you wouldn't have got much work done.

Hi Brendan,
Good shots especially the Kinglets ! Of course the Snowy Owl is my favorite too
We had a wonderful start in 2014, hope it continuous.
I actually don't like photographing the Snowy Owls too much. Too many photographers show up here to for the Snowy Owls and so when you stop on the road a lot of cars pull up and then scare the owls away. Not many photographers here though are interested in passerines so I prefer that. Author: tsheunglai Time: 30/01/2014 23:40
Surely the best of two weeks for a long time. Four HK-ticks:Blyth'sreed warbler at Shatin, Long-billed plover and Blyth's pipit at Kamtin and Barred cuckoo dove at Kadoorie Farm and Garden.

Hi Brendan,
I'm really enjoying these pictures. I lived in the US for a year and have a particular fondness for Tufted Titmouse and Chickadees- they were hand tame where I lived and would land on me as I walked and look for seeds. I learned to always have some on me so they were well rewarded.

Hi Brendan,
long time no see!
Very nice photos! It seems that the places around your home is so birdy and full of beautiful birds, so admirable!
The Hooded Margansers are so cute, and the white-throated Sparrow is so lovely!
When birding in HK especially when it's so quite, it's always remind me of your wonderful birdlist seen at the forum!
Hope see you sometime visiting HK again!
