I presume this is Long Valley.
This bird has been around all winter, and is the first wintering record of Black-naped Oriole in Hong Kong since at least 1995 and probably earlier. The last known wintering bird was in 1988. Author: ajohn Time: 4/03/2014 10:17
I remember some other reports of Black-naped Oriole in mid-winter (January/February) in recent years - from memory, birds seen at Long Valley and Lam Tsuen. I think at least one was reported during a Big Bird Race.
I guess these records were not submitted to HKBWS?
