I found a single swallow in Mai Po at autumn of last year. Is it Asian or Northern House Martin? Pls. help me ID, thanks a lot!

It looks promising for Northern to me. Are there any more photos?
What were the details of the sighting - was it on the reserve at Mai Po or somewhere else nearby? There are no previous records of Northern House Martin on the reserve. Author: talkgirlelena Time: 10/03/2014 09:02
Hi, John, thanks for your reply. I found it occasionally at Tam Kon Chau Road and flying with other House Swift so I can't provide more photos. Is it really the first record in Mai Po? Incredible!!!!!!! Author: wgeoff Time: 11/03/2014 08:51
Not yet accepted by the Records Committee but I will submit the photo for review.
If it was on Tam Kon Chau Road it wasn't on the reserve, so we are still waiting for our first Northern House Martin on the reserve itself. There have been other records from other nearby fishpond areas. Author: talkgirlelena Time: 11/03/2014 09:49
