This is a Long-toed Stint. The size is probably the easiest way to separate from Sharp-tailed Sandpiper. Where was the photo taken? Author: thui Time: 8/09/2014 16:13
This was taken in HKWP few days ago. But its size is more or less the same as the Common Sandpiper. Author: passerby-b Time: 8/09/2014 17:10
Dear thui, I think we photoed the same 2 birds in Wetland Park. Again, I thought it should be a Sharp-tailed Sandpiper because its size is comparable with that of a Common Sandpiper and certainly bigger (longer) than a White Wigtail!
