About the Speaker:
Xi Zhinong is the most renowned wildlife photographer and conservationist in China. He has been dedicated to recording the plight of China’s disappearing wildlife and wilderness, and using the power of images to promote conservation of endangered species and their habitat, such as the snub-nosed monkey and Tibetan Antelope (Chiru). He was the first Chinese photographer who has ever won an award at the Wildlife Photographer of the Year (BBC Wildlife Photography Competition), and also the only Chinese Fellow selected by the International League of Conservationist Photographer. His work has been published by National Geographic, BBC Wildlife, etc. For promoting nature photography in China, he also created Wild China Film and Chinese Wildlife Photographer Training Camp. http://www.wildchina.cn/index.php/about-aboutus-id-8
