Two record counts at Mai Po today:

* Bar-tailed Godwit 235 on Pond 16/17 at high tide (JAA), the highest ever spring count.

* Gull-blled Tern 1,121 off the Mai Po boardwalk on the falling tide (JAA, RWL), an all-time high count.

Also 1 Spoon-billed Sandpiper at Gei Wai #16/17 during high tide around 2.2m

Blue-tailed Bee Eater 7 (Flying around, but very high)
