Finding the tiny spoonie amidst the hundreds of birds is as difficult as finding a needle in a haystack. Without the use of spotting scope and great effort, the chance of success is abysmal. So my sincere thanks to 3 Western birders who spent great effort in finding the spoonie with their spotting scopes and shared its location with us.
