2013 香港鳥類報告 HK Bird Report 2013

由香港觀鳥會編輯的《香港鳥類報告2013》，已經正式出版。本會謹感謝香港鳥類報告編輯組的努力使報告得以順利完成。

本期的鳥類報告印刷版繼續選用100%再造紙及大豆油墨印製，同時亦推出電子版(光碟)。

1/ 6月3日前到鳥會領取：無需通知，自行於辦公時間(星期一至五09:30-17:45 / 星期六09:30至13:00)到本會領取便成。請攜帶會員證以作證明。
2/ 6月3日後才能到鳥會領取：請先以電郵通知本會( membership @ hkbws.org.hk 請自行取消空格)，以停止郵寄程序。
3/ 郵寄：未能於上述時間期間領取的會員，其鳥類報告將於3/6之後的一星期內寄出。

除了郵寄的成本的考慮以外，印刷版的《香港鳥類報告2013》連封面封底共352頁，厚20mm，重0.6公斤，如郵寄有可能弄皺或出現表面損毀的情況，亦有可能因太厚而放不進信箱而遺失，所以如果可以的話，請親到鳥會辦事處領取。

香港鳥類報告只向以下四類會員派發：全費個人會員、全費海外會員、榮譽會員及機構會員。
(香港鳥類報告的派發不適用於附屬會員、學生會員及長者會員)

The latest《Hong Kong Bird Report 2013》has just published.  The Society would like to express our gratitude to Editors of the Reports for their efforts to make this report available.

This Report was printed on 100% recycle paper with soy ink, and is also available in CD-Rom digital version.

" PRINTED Version"  /  "Digital Version in CD-Rom":

1/ Pick-up at HKBWS office on or before Jun 3:  please just come up to our office during office hours ((Mon-Fri 09:30-17:45 &  Sat 09:30-13:00), no prior notice is required. Please bring along your membership card for identification.
2/ Pick-up at HKBWS office after Jun 3: please notify us in advance so that your copy is not posted (email: membership @ hkbws.org.hk (Please delete spaces))
3/ By mail: the rest will be posted by mail after Jun 3.

The latest《Hong Kong Bird Report 2013》is a big one, ie 352 pages including front & back cover, 20mm thick, weight around 0.6kg.  Due to its bulkiness, it may suffer from wrinkling or minor surface damages if sent by post. It may also be too thick to put into your mail box which may result in lost mail. Therefore, if possible, please do come to our office in person to collect a perfect one .

Only the following four member types are entitled to the “Hong Kong Bird Report”: Local & Oversea Individual Member who are paying full subscription fee, Honorary Member and Corporate Member.  (Family member, student member & senior member are not entitled.)

領取期限已結束，本會現在正進行郵寄工作，除之前已電郵通知本會延後領取的會員外，請勿到取。

Pick-up period now came to the end and we're preparing bulk mailing of the report. Please do NOT come to office for pick-up unless you have notified us of your delayed pick-up by email before.

所有《香港鳥類報告2013》的印刷版及電子版光碟已於今早寄出。本會非常感謝幫忙郵寄工作的所有義工, 特別是紅耳鵯俱樂部的組員。
All HKBR 2013, printed or digital version, were posted today. Many thanks to all volunteers, esp. the Crested Bulbul Club members, who had help the mailing work.

Mine arrived on Saturday afternoon (June 6th).

A great overview of the birding year; - a lot of thought, effort and experience is reflected in the contents.

The charts of the water/shorebirds reflected a lot of "pictures" in the Mai Po in my mind.
