Adult Whiskered Tern, moulting into non-breeding plumage. The dark grey feathers of the underparts are a useful feature for breeding plumage of this species, not shown by other terns. Author: mguy Time: 16/09/2015 10:59
Thanks John... find these Terns complicated enough without them going through a moulting stage to confuse me further
